How to Open a RYL Vape (and Why You Should Not)
The RYL Classic 35K is a sealed disposable, so there is no user-serviceable way to open it and no reason to. You do not open it to refill the e-liquid, because it is not refillable, and you do not open it to change a coil, because the dual mesh coil is built in. The only access point you ever need is the USB-C charging port. Prying open the shell exposes the internal lithium battery, ruins the device, and creates a hazard, so it should not be done.
Why the RYL is sealed and what is inside
A disposable vape is designed as a closed unit on purpose. Inside the leather-textured shell sit a prefilled tank holding 16.5 mL of e-liquid, a dual mesh coil, a rechargeable lithium battery, and the small board that drives the HD screen and puff counter. None of these parts are meant to be serviced by the user, which is exactly what makes the device simple to use.
Because it is draw-activated and rechargeable over USB-C, everything you need to operate it is already accessible from the outside. There are no coils to swap and no tank to fill, so opening the body gains you nothing. The only part you should access

Everything else stays closed. The flavor is fixed for the life of the device, the coil is permanent, and the battery is sealed in. Treating the RYL as a closed unit is not a limitation so much as the whole design, and it is why one device can run for up to 35,000 puffs with almost no user input beyond charging.
Safe handling and disposal
Handle the device the way you would any small lithium-battery product. Do not puncture, crush, cut, or pry the shell, since damaging the battery can cause it to overheat or leak. Keep it away from prolonged high heat, and if it ever becomes hot, swollen, or starts to leak, stop using it and set it somewhere safe to cool, as described in our note on why a vape battery gets warm.
When the device is finished, do not throw a lithium battery loose into household trash where it can be crushed. Instead, use a local battery or electronics recycling drop-off that accepts vape devices, following the rules in your area.
